Minor Heat · Come, have tea

Bamboo shadow sweeps the steps, dust does not stir,

Cicada song passes the ear, wind naturally cools.

One bowl of tea clears the summer's heaviness,

Half a day of leisure, the body sits in lengthening shadow.

Coming, we ask not the path of returning,

Going, we still hear the fragrance on lips and teeth.

At Zhenji's gate there is no other matter,

Only this clear taste given to the flowing light.
